The Q-Port is a microcomputer based health information instrument that may be
used stand-alone or in conjunction with I2I.IQS. The Q-Port provides the
interface for measuring skin conductance and the means for doing a Stress Vector
Survey.

Adjustable LCD Display ---
On the front of each Q-Port system is an LCD display that provides information such
as what mode you are currently using, the previous
measurement value and the current value along with a simple bar graph. The easy to read
LCD display is also adjustable making it easy to read in various lighting conditions.
Adjustable Audio Control ---
With each measurement the Q-Port generates an audible tone that increases in pitch the
higher the reading. Use the simple volume controls to set the tone volume to fit your
personal preferences.

Probe and Hand Mass ---
The probe and brass electrode are used to measure the electrical resistance through the
patents body. The patient holds the brass electrode in one hand. The practitioner will then
touch specific points on the patient's hands or feet with a specialized probe tip. The probe
will not pierce the skin. The patient cannot feel any current. Measuring every organ and
system in the body will take about twenty minutes. These measurements give the base
readings indicating where the weaknesses or stresses in the body are located. The
practitioner then uses IQS and the Q-Port to measure how the patient would respond
to the medicines and help determine which remedy is best for the patient's particular
illness or condition. |
